Our mission:

Proudly based in Oklahoma City, Brightmusic Society of Oklahoma was founded in 2003 to provide regional audiences of all ages with inspired chamber music concerts performed at the highest level by the area’s finest professional musicians.

We will employ our passion for the music to engage and substantially grow the classical music audience in Oklahoma and beyond.

Members of Brightmusic are prominent contributors to the area's musical life and culture by teaching at leading universities and holding titled chairs in the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.

Brightmusic is the platform for our leading musicians to be ambassadors of this most intimate of musical forms, chamber music.

Programming features a diverse repertoire from music of the late Baroque to the most innovative and creative works of today. Commissioning new works is a core mission for Brightmusic, in addition to playing the music from great masters of the past.

Through our innovative programming, informative talks by the artists during the concerts and the opportunity to speak with them afterwards, audiences get acquainted with the musicians and actively connect with the performances.
